It's been a while since i did a text-art piece.
I was practicing with my tablet and drew the outline shape, then I started playing with text and it just evolved into this. It's quite dark I'm not usually this negative, i just like my pieces to have a strong message behind them. Let me know what you think? Comments
I know that my friend wouldn't like this at all. He hates the thought of dying alone. <.<
I like how it's so bare and desolate. The colours work really well. To compare the two... I prefer this, although the background is a bit too bare for my liking. The other was a bit too chaotic though, so... -- Guaranteed & Constructive Comments - Contact a deviant today! #ProjectComment | #Xpose-it | #alwaysmotivated No worries. You do what you want to do. -- Guaranteed & Constructive Comments - Contact a deviant today! #ProjectComment | #Xpose-it | #alwaysmotivated Why do i like this better? Cos the empty black bg gives me the "all-alone-removed-from-this-world" feeling which I think fits ur sombre concept perfectly. And the color red further intensifies the feeling. Nice job on this!
-- Art Should Connect People, Not Separate Them. Discover All That's Colorful, Creative & Cool At "SpeedsVille". Oh my... Yes, that is marginally better.

I find this background less distracting, and I quite like it with the red, it's reminiscent of fire. Is that what you wanted to imply? I think that 'fire' is something that will pop into the viewer's head as soon as they see this. That being said, if that is that you indended, good job! I think the fire is quite beautiful, and the figure's outline is done fairly well. The hands are a little claw-like, and maybe a little small, but still good.
Normally I don't like black-white-red themes, they look really cheesy, but you seem to have avoided that. I think it's the fact that white is only used for the text, so that it stands out. The darker red you chose was also a good choice. I might go a bit darker still, but maybe then it would blend too much into the black background.
Anyway, I like this! If I saw this as a poster for a movie I think it would get my attention.
